For routine or emergency maintenance/repair services in academic & administrative buildings, please submit a service request to the Facilities Service Center. This center dispatches appropriate Facilities staff to resolve such issues. Service Center will prioritize and process the request in compliance with University procedures.
Emergency requests are prioritized before the other maintenance requests. Non-Emergency requests and Estimates are fulfilled within approximately 20 business days. For a service request that is not a routine maintenance request (recharge request), an account number will be required at time of the service request. For Estimate, please indicate that the request is for an estimate. If some or all of the work needs contracting out, Facilities will refer the requestor to Capital Planning and Construction Department.
Emergency Work Requests
During normal business hours, for a situation that may harm or damage property or personnel if not attended to immediately (i.e.; broken water pipe, toilet overflowing, broken window, exposed electrical wires, etc.), Facilities Service Center should be called in, at 415-338-1568.
For after hour emergencies involving life, safety or property damage, please contact - University Police Dispatch at (415) 338-7200.
